About Marvin S. Weaver III

Born in Pinehurst, NC he is a graduate of Aberdeen High School, Aberdeen, NC.

He is a US Army Veteran and a graduate cum laude of the University of North Carolina, Pembroke with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. After completing his college education in 1969, he served with the United States General Accounting Office, under the Comptroller General of The United States in Washington, DC. Thereafter he came to Bennettsville SC with the firm of Lundin and Brogdon, Certified Public Accountants, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1972. Since 1983 he has operated his own public accounting firm in Bennettsville. He has more than fifty years of experience in the field.

He has a lovely family and is married to the former Elizabeth Ann Ivey of Laurinburg, NC. They make their home in Bennettsville and have two sons, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren
